Whole Hog BBQ for Erin’s Farewell Shift

This Sunday, September 17th, Camerata will be hosting Feges BBQ for a whole-hog extravaganza! This BBQ cookoff and wine party is our chance to say goodbye and thank you to one of the most talented ladies in the biz, Erin Smith.

After many years honing her skills in some of the best restaurants in Houston and across the U.S., Erin Smith realized her latest passion because of a lifelong love and passion for wine. Bringing with her an impressive resume as a chef and an innate ability to pair food with wine, Smith underwent intensive wine training to become a sommelier when she joined the Camerata team. Trading kitchen knives for wine corkscrews wasn’t easy, but Erin has done an amazing job. She’s leaving Camerata to open a BBQ restaurant of her own with her husband Patrick!

On Sunday from 4pm to 8pm, she and Patrick will be slinging platters of smoked hog with classic sides for $20. The lucky pig hails from Black Hill Ranch, right here in Houston’s backyard! Best of all, Sunday’s wine list will be filled with Erin’s hand-selected BBQ pairings!
